2) Scope and acceptance

  1. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern purchases made on morewoodmore.com via our WooCommerce webstore.

  2. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

  3. These Terms are primarily intended for consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade/business). If you purchase as a business, certain consumer protections may not apply, but mandatory laws still apply.

3) Products

  1. We sell physical products (handcrafted wooden jewelry).

  2. Product descriptions and photos aim to be accurate, but:

    • wood is a natural material and each item may vary in grain, tone, and texture,

    • colors may look different due to screen settings and lighting.

  3. Natural variations are not defects, and your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

4) Creating a contract (WooCommerce order flow)

  1. Product listings are an invitation to treat and do not constitute a binding offer.

  2. Steps to place an order typically include:

    • selecting products and adding them to cart,

    • entering billing/shipping details,

    • selecting shipping method,

    • choosing payment method and completing payment,

    • reviewing and submitting the order.

  3. Order confirmation: after checkout you may receive an automated confirmation email. This confirms receipt of your order request, not necessarily acceptance.

  4. Contract conclusion: the purchase contract is concluded when:

    • your card payment is successfully processed via Stripe, and

    • we send an acceptance/confirmation (e.g., “order confirmed/processing”) or dispatch the goods,
      unless we notify you that we cannot fulfil the order (e.g., stock error, pricing error, suspected fraud).

5) Prices, VAT, currencies (EUR + HUF) and multi-currency

  1. All prices shown are gross prices including VAT (unless clearly stated otherwise).

  2. The store supports EUR and HUF using CURCY (WooCommerce Multi Currency).

  3. Binding amount: the total amount shown at checkout at the time of purchase and successfully charged via Stripe is the binding amount for that order.

  4. Exchange rates and rounding: when you switch currency, conversion is performed using CURCY based on its configured exchange rate source and update frequency. Rounding rules may apply.

  5. Bank/card FX fees: your card issuer or bank may apply foreign exchange or other fees. These are outside our control.

  6. Shipping costs and any extra fees (if any) are displayed during checkout before you confirm payment.

6) Payment (card payment via Stripe)

  1. Payment is made by card through Stripe and is usually instant.

  2. The order is considered paid once Stripe confirms successful authorization/capture (depending on configuration).

  3. If payment fails, is cancelled, or is reversed, we may:

    • place the order on hold, or

    • cancel the order if payment is not completed within a reasonable time.

  4. Card data: payment card details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or CVC.

  5. Stripe may run fraud-prevention checks and may require additional verification. Orders may be delayed or refused if verification fails or fraud is suspected.

7) Delivery and shipping

  1. We deliver to Hungary and EU countries (availability may depend on shipping method).

8) Right of withdrawal (EU consumer 14 days)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

8.1 Withdrawal period

  • The period expires 14 days from the day you (or a third party indicated by you) receive the goods.

8.2 How to exercise the right

To withdraw, send a clear statement by email to info@morewoodmore.com.

Email template:

  • Subject: Withdrawal from order [ORDER NUMBER]

  • Message:
    “I hereby withdraw from the contract for the purchase of the following goods: [PRODUCT NAME(S)].
    Order number: [ORDER NUMBER]
    Ordered on: [DATE] / Received on: [DATE]
    Name: [YOUR NAME]

8.3 Returning the goods

  1. You must send back the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you notified us of withdrawal.

  2. Return address: [RETURN ADDRESS]

  3. Unless we state otherwise, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

8.4 Refunds

  1. We will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (if applicable under consumer rules), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice.

  2. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you provide evidence of having sent them—whichever is earlier.

  3. Refunds are made to the same payment method (via Stripe) where possible. If not possible, we will agree an alternative method with you.

8.5 Diminished value

You are only liable for diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

8.6 Withdrawal exceptions

Some goods/services may be exempt from withdrawal rights (e.g., certain sealed hygiene goods once unsealed). We do not generally rely on broad exceptions for physical products unless clearly applicable.

9) Returns (non-withdrawal) and customer service

10) Legal warranty / conformity (consumer rights)

  2. If a product is defective or does not conform, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

  3. Natural grain/color variations of wood are not defects, provided the product matches the essential description and is fit for normal use.

11) Order changes and cancellations

  1. If you need to change an order, contact us as soon as possible: info@morewoodmore.com. Changes are possible only before dispatch and depending on processing status.

  2. We may cancel an order if:

    • the product is out of stock,

    • an obvious pricing/technical error occurred,

    • delivery is not possible,

    • fraud/abuse is suspected,

    • force majeure prevents fulfilment.

  3. If we cancel after payment, we will refund you.

12) Product care and safety notes

  1. Jewelry care: avoid prolonged water exposure, perfumes/chemicals, and excessive heat; store dry.

  2. Wood care: natural wood may age and change slightly over time; treat gently.

  3. Safety: keep small jewelry parts away from small children. If you have allergies/sensitivities, check materials and contact us with questions.

13) Liability

  1. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is unlawful (e.g., intent, gross negligence, mandatory consumer rights).

  2. We are not responsible for:

    • interruptions caused by factors outside our control (e.g., hosting/ISP issues),

    • indirect or consequential damages where not permitted by mandatory law,

    • your bank/card issuer fees and exchange rate charges.

14) Intellectual property

All content on the website (texts, photos, logos, designs) is protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, distribute, or use it commercially without our written permission.

15) Accounts

  1. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping login details confidential.

  2. We may suspend/terminate accounts if there is misuse or violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

16) Reviews and user content (if enabled)

  1. If reviews are enabled, you must post lawful, truthful, and respectful content.

  2. We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, or irrelevant.

  3. By submitting a review, you grant us a non-exclusive right to display it on our website and marketing materials related to the shop.

17) Complaints and dispute resolution
